Before showing the method of How to play SRT, we must understand
SRT. Files using the file extension SRT are mostly text files used to
provide subtitles when playing videos in different folders or in a
computer-based media player on a machine or a standalone DVD
player. This file actually contains a wealth of information as part of
the movie where each subtitle should appear and the text to be
displayed during a specific portion of the film to coincide with the
audio video. The naming convention for trace files subtitle is usually
in the form of the filename (which must be the same as the movie
name), followed by the specific language used in the subtitle and the
extension of SRT file, such as words. eng.SRT which means that it is a
file English subtitles for the words of film. Subtitles give the
audience a way to understand the dialog of the characters in the film,
even if its not in their mother tongue.
